No shares listed on target Celerra after a "switchover".
We have performed a switch over test again and am leaving it switched over for an extended period of time.
While examining the target celerra (where the switched over VDM and FS are currently running) we noticed that when viewing the CIFS SHARES, there arent any listed in Celerra manager.
Is this by design? If not, is there an issue?
Can we create new shares while "switched over" and if so, can that cause any issues with the existing shares that were created while running on the source?

Check the VDM status on the Target side - it should be loaded.
And, if you don't find the shares in the Celerra Manager, please try to CLI Command $ server_export server_x to list the shares.
Before trying to reboot the control station - You may try to refresh the Celerra Manager CIFS shares window (not the browser refresh - but the celerra manager refresh icon on top right corner).
And yes - you must be able to perform all normal functions including creating new shares when the VDM is switched over. Please be careful about the Celerra Replication status and the status of the source Celerra as well (is the source available on wire?).
Thanks,
Sandip

Hello,
Please try to reboot only the control station and I think this should solve your issue.
login as root into the control station and type reboot as command to reboot the control station.
and you can continue to create the shares on the target side and this would not cause any issue on the existing shares.

I swore I tried the REFRESH button. Anyway, after several days of waiting for some kind of answer, I tried the REFRESH again. All Shares on the Target showed up in CIFS/Shares list.
