How to revert an Archive Policy on FMA

Need assistance in how revert back a policy that was run by mistake on a Celerra File System utilizing FMA 7.3 appliance; A test policy was enabled and ran stubbing data that was not yet ready to be archived; Our normal archive policy is data older than 2 years; which is our normal weeckly schedule; Unfortinately a policy that archives untouvched data as early as 6 months was enabled; I am looking to revert back the changes and unarchive files between 6 months and 24 months; Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You need to recall all those files.

Please, see https://community.emc.com/docs/DOC-9207.

Gustavo,

if I am to delete the dhsm connection; I assume i would have to recreated to re-establish my original 2 year policy?

Hi,

The two things are not related. If the policy is already created, you can use it.

And the dhsm connection can be automatically created if configured for that.
