how to extend checkpoint storage size with CLI?
Hi all,
I'm just wondering how to extend checkpoint storage size, which can be seen in a filesystem's property, with CLI.
Due to VNX File OE's issue, I cannot extend it from Unisphere/GUI.
I know the upgrading will solve the issue, but my coutomer needs the extension immediately.
So, if anyone of you know how to extend the checkpoint storage size from CIL,
please let me know.

Peter_EMC,
thanks to comment on it.
I just read emc152922.
and figured out the procedure is for certain filesystem's checkpoint aka snapsure.
In my case, the sav vol is for deduplication.
Does extending all filesystem's snapsure checkpoint work for deduplication, too?
Or is there another way?
Sincerely,
dynamox

deduplication alone does not require savvol, if your file system is protected by snapshots ..before dedupe process "removes" duplicate files, they get moved to savvol area.

There is only one savvol used for one file system – no matter what its used for
So yes it applies as well
