Creating LUNs on the celerra root disk raid group
Hello all,
On my celerra, the root disk raid group (Celerra_root_disk NAS/OS) is on 1.5 TB SATA drives. There is around 6.5TB of "free" space that I would like to use. I was wondering, would it be a really bad idea to create LUNs in this raid group for some filesystems to export via NFS? It wouldn't be any sort of heavy IO or anything like that, just some raw storage.
Thanks!

Hi,
If the FS is used for less performance related activities, i think there should be no issues.

That's what I had thought. Thank you for the confirmation.
