Add a Disk to Storage Pool and extend Filesystem
Hi, I purchased 4 new disks to be added to the Celerra.
I have used three of them for extend the SAN and give my vsphere host more space.
I wanted to use one of them for extend filesystem on the nas.
What is the correct procedure?
how can i add them to the storage pools where is the filesystem?
Thanks in Advance

To add for file (NAS) storage you need at least two disks so that you can do a RAID1
More if you want to add it to an existing Celerra or Clariion pool – then you need to add a complete raidgroup

Yes, you should not expand the current raid group.
Create a new raid group, preferred with the same characteristic than the other ones the filesystem is already residing on.

So, i can't expand the current raid group where the filesystem reside?
Do i need to create a new raid group, create a volume and use it for expand my filesystem?
