Transferring Permanent License From One Single Node To Another
Ok so here is the scenario. A customer has a 2 TB license in their old Gen 2 Avamar Single node. The Avamar Gen 2 single node is in its end of lifecycle. The customer purchases a new Gen 4s single node with 2 TB of license to replace its old Gen 2. The customer wants to transfer its 2TB of license from the old Gen 2 to the new Gen 4s to add a total capacity of 4TB to the new Gen 4s. Can this been done? And what would be the process of transferring the license over?

I figured it out. So for anyone that would like to know here is the solution. You generate the temporary key in Avamar and send it to licensing@emc.com specifying how many TB the user is authorized along with their sales order number. After that, they send you the generated permanent key with the amount of TB you specified.
