location of the avtar.cmd file for linux
Hello all,
In windows you place the avtar.cmd file @ C:\Program Files\avs\var\
On a linux server I notice there are the following avamar directories
/var/avamar
/usr/local/avamar
/etc/avamar
Where does the avtar.cmd file go?
Thank you kindly,
Steven

The folder to place it would be /usr/local/avamar/var which I believe is valid for all flavors of Linux but double check yours to verify its default install folder.

Thank you I tested that location and it did show as working correctly in the backup logs.
Have a wonderful day,

Hey,
In Windows, place the avtar.cmd to C:\Program Files\avs\var\
In Linux, place the avtar.cmd to /usr/local/avamar/var/
Hope this helps!
