Increase in Retention
Hello All
Here my question is we are having retention of data set as 35days and our retention of data for particular is going to complete. We have a critical restore request for a client which needs to be extended for next 5days. In this scenerio how to increase the retention of data not to get expire. Please answer me

Hello,
Per my understanding, you want to modify expiration date for a particular backup and want to increase it, right ?
1. click the Backup & Restore launcher button.
2. Click the Manage tab.
3. Locate backup which you want to change retention.
4. Actions > Change Expiration Date.

I would you recommend you to go through "Managing Completed Backups" section in following Administration guide, which includes Finding backups, Changing expiration date and retention type, validating backup, deleting backup etc. Very useful procedures and It is not so lengthy to read once
