How to get attributes of VMs that have been deleted in vCenter
Hello guys/gals,
Is there a way to get attributes of VMs that have been deleted in vCenter but yet are still listed in Avamar (grey color). My goal is to transition from adding individual VMs to Avamar to start using containers. Today when VM admin decomms a VM they have to let me know so i can retire it in Avamar otherwise they will keep failing during regular daily backups. If i transition to using containers i will no longer get alerts of VMs that got deleted, but i need to be able to identify these VMs and retire them. So is there a command that will list these VMs that are no longer in vCenter (as seen in the screenshot below).
Thank you

Thank you Amol, this is exactly what i need.
Another follow up questions. If VM has not been deleted from vCenter, i can't seem to find a way to retire it. Let's say i have a VM that is having issues, it got reconfigured in some way and now Avamar has problems backing it up. Today when i manually add VMs to Avamar, i can right click on the VM and select retire, then go back to Administrators and re-add that VMs. How would i accomplish the same thing if i am using VM container ? Right now if i right click on a VM inside of a container, all options are grayed-out.
Thank you again.

That is because container property is set to "dynamic" by default. This means Avamar will continuously monitor the "container" and add/remove VMs into Avamar dynamically.
You can change the property of the container to "static" but then you will loose the functionality of monitoring.
You can change the container property by going to MC GUI->Policy->Clients->Select Vcenter->On Right Pane,Edit the Container (See the screenshot)
Once you uncheck the "Dynamic mode", then you can go back to the VM that belong to this container and perform the desired action.
