Oscar,
I have seen similar issues when installer is run without running a previous umask 022.
Are you following AER Solve Desktop PG? Maybe you skipped task 9?

I put the password to Postgres was: changeme
and for the user root: Changeme1!
I have doubt, if I have to create some user before installation or should I put a default password?

Arturo;
We perform the configuration with the procedure generated by the SOLVE,
checking
the procedure of version 6.1, step 9 you mention is made after the
installation of AER, Task 8: Install Avamar extended retention, precisely
where the installation fails.
There anything I should consider? as Postgres and root passwords
On the other hand if possible, can you share with us the guidance you used.
Try the installation again, or else we Rekickstar the node and start again.

Oscar:
Sorry but it is confusing, on first post you mentioned:
I am installing Avamar Avamar Extended Retention 2.6.1.22 for 7.1.1-141
and on last one you said:
"The procedure of version 6.1"
Do you mean AER 2.6.1 or AER 1.1-6.1.0?
If you download latest SOLVE PG, step 9 is umask command and step 11 is installation, so I would recommend you to get latest PG.

Arturo

We face the same issue on a freshly rekickstarted Media Access Node. We successfully installed Avamar 7.1.0 on it, and now want to continue by installing AER 2.6.0-43 on it, but end up at exactly the same error.
We are using the proper Solve procedure and didn't have any problems with step 9. I also checked the differences between the new procedure for 2.6.1 and 2.6.0 with Beyond Compare, but those differences are not applicable to this problem.
Has anyone resolved this issue yet?

Hi Arturo;
An apology for the confusion, install version 2.6.1 AER, the problem was
that when generating the procedure for the first time in the version 7.1,
the document does not think so either task 9 is not showed.
We rekickstarted Media Access Node and started again and generate the
procedure again and correctly install the equipment.
The problem was the Word document created incorrectament by the PG.
thank you all for your support, helped us a lot to find the problem
best regards

HI Matthiashanssens;
The problem is solved following the complete guide to the correct version,
I share the guide to use for AER 2.6.1 for Avamar version 7.1.1.
Note: The file change_nodetype, I was not found in the / usr / local /
Avamar / src, so we had to copy it to another node.
