Browse failing for SQL cluster resource

Hello Experts,

I amt trying to do SQL cluster configuration. Individual nodes are backing up fine using Windows Filesystem plugin.

I ran Avamar Config tool on SQL active node and cluster client now appears under Avamar Administrator clients list.

I am trying to browse/backup SQL DB/Shared disk using cluster client but not able to do so. Browse fails with below error:

Cluster.JPG.jpg

Running backup is in waiting-client status and nothing happens. Support suggested to check ports from client, but I am able to perform backups from individual nodes in cluster, so I don't think it is port issue. I do not have telnet installed on client so cannot post telnet output here.

Any suggestions??

I was able to solve this by modifying Avamar cluster resource to listen on port 28002 rather than a random port as windows firewall was active on client side.

can you describe where to Change the listening port?

Hi,

It needs to be done on Avamar SQL cluster resource properties.

It looks something like

" --service --mcsaddr= --mcsport=28001 --netbind=.--dpndomain= --listenport=28003
