Avamar administrator does not save Server connection options
Hi,
I have installed an instance of the "Avamar Administor" on a dedicated windows 2008 r2 server, in order to have a restore platform for my guys. Although, it does not save the connection options; whenever they re-open the administrator they need to re-enter the "default Admnistrator server", and "default domain".
I'm guessing this is because they have limited right on the servers, but what need to be changed exactly, anybody knows ?
Thanks a bunch.

I think you can install multiple copies of the Admin Console then each person could use their own copy.

Click on the Options button which allows you to save these.

Hello Adam,
Well I am, but it's not saving the parameters. I'm guessing it's a permission issue.
Where is it saving the settings in a multi user situation, do you know ?

Hey JS,
Adam is right.
Open the Avamar GUI, you can click "Options" to input “Default Administrator Server” and “Default Domain Name”. But you must know it is only save latest one.
If more than one person wants to save their own different “Default Administrator Server”, you can install few copies of Avamar GUI, then each person can save their own “Default Administrator Server”. Hope this helps.

Than you so much guys! I ended up installing multiples copies on the same machine.
This forums is great, I really appreciate the time and efforts you put into helping out customers.
