m17 R5, secondary M.2 expansion?

I just ordered a new m17 R5. Kind of excited, first new personal laptop in 6 years. I have a question on M.2 expansion. The model I bought only came with a 512GB M.2. Is there a secondary slot on the mainboard for expansion?

Thanks in advance

Hi @mournbladeiv welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.

Support for Alienware m17 R5 AMD includes Manuals and Documents and the Setup and Specifications says the number of Internal slots is dependent on the graphics card specification. Which Alienware m17 R5 AMD build specification was purchased?

The Crucial System Advisor tool has the most recent database information on tested Internal SSD, Alienware m17 R5 | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com

The M.2 512GB SSD OS (C:) boot drive can be cloned (copied) by Macrium Software | Reflect Free Edition and this should undertaken on delivery of system, just in case the original C: drive becomes unrecoverable or larger capacity wanted.

Additional information is available at Google Search - NotebookCheck.net and within other reviews on the internet.
