m17 R3, drops GPU power to 30W after AC adapter reconnect
Hi. I have a problem with m17 r3 with rtx2080 super. When I turn on the laptop with connected ac adapter 330w I get great performance and max 150w, but when I just reconnect the AC adapter (laptop is turned on) the GPU power drops to 30W. After I can't do nothing to back it to max performance, only one way it's to restart the laptop and it starts working again with max 150w for next AC adapter reconnecting.
I tried different Nvidia drivers, different vbios, and different bios settings, but nothing helped. Probably someone had the same problem? Thanks

Hi. The problem was the resolved. The issue was with hardware. The input MOSFET was damaged and work incorrect. After reconnect the AC adapter laptop think that it's not enough power become of voltage dropping on this MOSFET. After replacing, laptop stars working as it should.

Do you have the latest bios version installed? If not, update it to see if that will resolve the issue.
To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them. Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.

@DELL-Jesse L yes, I have the last bios 1.31.0. I don't want to get paid warranty for old laptop. I need an advice about it so I be able to fix it by myself. Thanks
