Area-51m R1, Bios 1.23.0 installation error
This is the error I get when I try to update the BIOS on my Area-51m R1.

Note, because the warranty has expired, I would caution against installing any BIOS update. A failed BIOS update could break the motherboard.

Alienware Area-51m System BIOS | Driver Details | Dell US Installation instructions are very specific. Download the file Alienware_Area-51m_1.23.0.exe onto your drive, verify the file checksum value and then run as administrator to install. (Never try to install BIOS over the internet).
How to update the BIOS on your Alienware PC - YouTube The free MD5 & SHA Checksum Utility or similar is suitable to verify the file checksum value.
