17 R2, battery cable connection
I'm replacing the battery on my laptop. I've done many repairs on previous Dell laptops that I have owned.
I can't seem to get the GD570 cable lined up properly to connect to the new battery.
Is there anything special/trick to make this happen?
Any help would greatly appreciated.

I just figured it out. I used a magnifying glass to inspect the cable. You don't slide the cable into the battery. You push it down from the top
Life is good now.

Is the new battery OEM or third party?

I've never had this much difficulty with a connector.
