13 R2, replacement keyboard not working

I got this computer from relative who spill grape juice on it. I tried to clean it but the key were sticky so I replaced it. Now the built in keyboard does not work. USB keyboard work but not built in one. I’ve tried reinstalling the driver but it did nothing.

Any ideas?

Check the ribbon cable and the keyboard connector on the motherboard, make sure they are connected properly. If they look ok then the new keyboard could be faulty.

Does the old sticky one still function? If this also doesn't work at all then the liquid must have damaged the motherboard

If your laptop keyboard isn't working, the first step it to update the driver. Look at the list of devices until you see Keyboards, and expand the list. Select Properties > Driver. Click "Update Driver" and wait for Windows to scan for a new or updated driver
