AW2723DF, DDPM 2.0.0.72, does not recognize device
Hello!
I've been using the AW2723DF (27 inch) monitor with a lot of great joy for the past two years.
I've been using it combined with Dell Display Monitor software to switch from Display Port to HDMI input (from main PC screen to a console) instead of using the knob/button thing to switch. Recently, the software had an update and now I'm unable to connect the device to the software.
Monitor works fine though; display works as intended. It says there isn't a device connected, while it's working just fine. What is causing this?

Dell Support must verify the ownership and warranty status. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share the private AW2723DF Service Tag with them.
Unknown as to the cause.
* Uninstall Windows OS DDPM (Dell Display and Peripheral Manager) 2.0.0.72
* Reboot the PC when finished
* Install Windows OS DDM (Dell Display Manager) 2.3.2.23
* Reboot the PC when finished and retest

To be clear, you had the correct new Windows OS DDPM which should have work. But it just came out on the 20th, so seeing some issues. Since it didn't work, my suggestion was to go back to the Windows OS DDM since it seems to work for you.
