Aurora R9, Windows 11 24H2, can no longer overclock in AWCC

(Image below)

This seemed to start with my upgrade to Win 11 Pro from Win 10. I'm wondering if this problem is related to the recent problem I'm seeing with being unable to keep Memory Integrity on under Windows Security Core Isolation.  Forcing it on or writing to the corresponding registry entry (HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity\Enabled)  just resets it upon reboot. Does not list any incompatible drivers.

I have latest windows, latest updates, latest alienware updates, latest AWCC. I have the following relevant Windows Features on :

Hyper-V

Virtual Machine Platform

Windows HyperVisor Platform

(Replying to my own post)

NEVERMIND.  Duh, follow directions and turn off Memory Integrity, Hyper-V and Virtual Machine Platform and it works fine.

I was getting a little fried when I posted this -- I was actually trying to chase down why I couldn't enable Memory Integrity and this popped up as a side effect.

Just as a sanity check -- Is there anyone reading this with an Aurora R9 upgraded to Windows 11 who CAN enable Memory Integrity?  If so, please chime in.

Thanks

"latest AWCC"

The Aurora R9 Drivers & Downloads page only shows up to AWCC 5.x (5.9.2.0). Are you trying to run AWCC 6.x?

No, I'm using 5.x -- it's working now.  (see my reply above yours).  I've moved on to trying to get Memory Integrity to work.  There are no incompatible drivers.  The scan utility shows it's not working because the MAT is not available.  Do you know if it is limited by the BIOS in this model?

From my past experience, using AWCC to overclock results with de minimis performance gains.

In fact, I disabled AWCC from starting, have disabled BIOS capsule updates.

My Gen 1 R10 that I bought back in March 2020 is still running like a champ with 1.0.8 BIOS from 09/2020 and have recently installed a MSI Ventus 4070 TI Super.

Just saying my experience & 2 cents
