Aurora R8, graphics card, memory upgrades
1) Is an Nvidia RTX 4060Ti compatible with this motherboard?
2) Can I upgrade the memory to 32GB. If so, what memory should I use?

The Aurora R8 was shipped with a 460w or a 850w power supply. Either one, it's sufficient enough to support a 160w RTX 4060 Ti. There are variants makers, just verify that your selected card fitment for the chassis.
For memory upgrade, you may consider memory from Crucial. They have lifetime warranty and support. Their compatibility tool indicates 64 GB as maximum upgrade for Aurora R8. Therefore, you can certainly upgrade yours to 32 GB. See compatible memory from their site here https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/alienware/aurora-r8

CPU is older generation, might not be the best idea to pair it with a 4060Ti, regular 4060 or even a 3060 if you can find them for a good price might be a better pairing.

You'll need to provide the system model for anyone to venture an answer.

@Vanadiel Thank you. Can I upgrade the cpu as well. And, if so, what would you recommend?
Best,
George

@gerowe CPU upgrades are also limited due to age. I would not put to much money towards a new video card and go with a somewhat lower offering of the 4000 series. Will save you money.

I personally would be careful in obtaining Crucial memory. I am in a similar boat to you and have had posting issues with aftermarket memory. The 4 yellow flashes on Alienhead on startup in particular. I would advise to get the Dell official memeory even though it is very expensive but it is the recommended RAM to get . The timings etc will all work. There are a lot of people who have had issues in starting their PC and getting into BIOS as a result of using Crucial or Corsair memory. Also their are others who have used it successfully. DDR4 vs XMP profiling amd timings are all important when ordering your RAM.

I would be careful of using aftermarket memory. I have had issues in posting before , 4 yellow flashes on Alienhead on startup. I had to go back to Dell Memory. People have succeeded in getting Crucial or Corsair memory to work but a lot of people get the dreadful 4 yellow flashes on start up also. The Dell memory is ridiculously expensive though. Getting into BIOS and turning off XMP profile on startup is advisable if using aftermarket memory at first. Be careful in taking out amd putting back the RAM also in the DIMM slots as I damaged one RAM stick this way. The default DIMM slots for dual channel are white tabs I believe also for R8.
