Can I open up my PC to upgrade the ram without voiding my warranty?

There is no seal on it, so yes.

I think more data is needed here.

"Can I open up my PC to upgrade the ram without voiding my warranty?"
* Yes.

* But, if while you are installing 3rd party ram you damage the chassis, memory slots, break cabling, break ports, etc. none of that would be covered.

You need to make sure the memory you are going to buy will work in your R13. Alienware PC's are picky about what parts you can use, especially memory.

The most important thing: beware of static electricity !  Use bracelet or anti-static mat .

Because it takes only one spark to zap the computer... unseeing damage.

I upgraded my RAM on the R13, works great. I went with:

G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB Series

(Intel XMP) 64GB (2 x 32GB)

288-Pin SDRAM DDR5 5600

CL28-34-34-89 1.35V
