Aurora R12, wont accept 3600 ram upgrade.
I have an Aurora R-12 that came factory with 16gb Ram (single stick DDR4) The machine is supposed to go up to 128gb of ram. I purchased 128gb Ripjaw DDR4 3600 (4X32) and after installing it, the machine wont fire up. It flashes orange, Red then goes to the normal light blue. But will not start. I have had 2 sets of ram and neither one will work. I put the original 16gb back in and it fires up. All the specs for this machine says it will go up to 128gb (4X32).
What is wrong? Please.

Only oem-memory is guaranteed to work. The Auroras have very limited aftermarket memory-support.

I found some ram that works. After looking at and trying everything that was recommended, I was still unable to get anything to work. I finally gave up on bringing it to the max of 126gb and was able to find some more 16gb sticks that were identical to the ram that was in my machine. I added 3x16gb 3600 Kingston Fury sticks of ram and I am now running 64gb. It is not the 128 that I wanted, but it is still a lot better than the 16gb that was in it. Thank you all for trying to help...

possibly this
If you clear CMOS the G.Skill RAM may run at SPD 2666 MHz.

Return the ones you bought. And buy Crucial, they work 100%.
I myself own an Aurora R12 and have 4x16GB RAM Crucial installed.
I am adding a link.

I used Crucial Ballistix memory too in my R10 Ryzen Edition. These sticks worked fine till a bios update. For aftermarket Crucial is the best choice for the Auroras but you cant be 100% sure that they will work with future bios updates.

I thank you all for your input. But my machine didn't come with Crucial ram installed. It is using kingston Fury 1x16gb. I thought of buying the exact same that is in the machine after I created the post. I will let you all know how it worked. Again, Thank You for your input...

As I wrote to you, 4x16 DDR4 3200MHz Crucial runs beautifully at 3200MHz as it should!
