Aurora R10, ram upgrade?

Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R10

Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R10

Hi, I'm looking if someone could tell me the type of ram I should buy for my Alienware Aurora R10 Ryzen Edition? I'm running the stock 16GB and I'd like to upgrade to at least 32GB. If anyone could tell me the proper ram to buy, that would be awesome. Factor Required: DIMM

The most compatible RAM for Dell systems is Crucial and that RAM for your system can be found here at their web page.

Buy Crucial, they work 100%.
I own an Aurora  and have 4x16GB Crucial RAM installed.

I am adding a link. Crucial 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 UDIMM | CT2K16G4DFRA32A | Crucial.com

For 32 Gb you can do 4x8 GB or 2x16 GB.  do you want to replace the current 16 gb or add to them?  Is your current 16 GB = 2x8 GB?

if you have 2x8 and wish to add 2 more to make it 4x8, best chance of success is to get ram identical to your current oem.  look at your service tag Product spec to know your current ram model number or DP/N then use the following table to search on eBay for two more of the same ram.

This is the fastest oem-memory for your system which is guaranteed to work by Dell. Crucial is the best aftermarket choice but not guaranteed to work with future bios-updates.

I'm currently running 1X16GB so would it be best to go 2X16GB?

Crucial  Ballistix gaming memory work fine in the the R10 even after a few bios updates .

The problem is they discontinued the Ballistix product last year but you can still find them on the internet.

@Real_Boy85  what bios setting did you use to get it to recognize the 3200mhz and successfully boot with the setting at 3200?
