Aurora R10, glitching/boot problem
I have an Alienware Aurora R10 Ryzen Edition with a Ryzen 9 5900 and an RTX 3080 10GB with 32 GB of RAM. Before it handled games like a beast, it ran Fortnite 4k ray tracing all epic settings at 60 FPS, and it went amazing.
Then I downloaded MSI AfterBurner and Rivatuner, (I DID NOT OVERCLOCK ANYTHING), I only needed Rivatuner to get that sweet sweet FPS consistency. Anyways, I tried opening Fortnite, ok I'm in the main menu and all of a sudden it glitches, freezes, the audio slows down and also glitches, then the monitor turns off while the PC remains on.
I checked if there were an issue with the ports(I used DisplayPort) and the ports were intact and fully connected.
I also used Alt+R with the Nvidia Overlay to see the CPU and GPU utilisation and it showed my GPU being utilised by like 92% before it started glitching and turning blank.
I'm extremely concerened, I tried shutting it down then turning it back on again and tried running Fortnite again and still it crashed.
After I tried shutting down and restarting the pc again, it refused to boot, and I tried multiple times but it sent me to the blue 'Advanced Menu' options and so, with no other option left, I decided to reset my pc with the 'erase all data on disk' settings and I know it takes a couple of hours at most to complete the process, and I know Windows restarts multiple times to complete the process, but I'm worried, it's been nearly a day and it still is in this continuous loop of showing the Alienware boot screen, going blank, then showing the boot screen again, in this same loop of restarting and I'm really worried, also it shows the pre boot check occasionally (Nothing went wrong and my hardware is fine) but it still is in this loop and not being able to boot to Windows, continuously restarting.

@Vanadiel I am terribly sorry for responding really late b I managed to fix it myself by turning the power switch plug off and on again, and then after reinstalling Windows through the USB and somehow it worked like that, thank God. Anyways this is solved now.

Try to create Microsoft USB installation media using the Microsoft media creator, then try the Windows repair option if it finds a Windows installation on your drive.
Otherwise you might have to reinstall Windows from the USB media.
Windows 11 media creation tool
The exact same page exists for Windows 10 if that is what you were using.

@Vanadiel Sorry for responding after 3 days, the situation still hasn't resolved i'm afraid. I used the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool and then after booting through USB and installed Windows but it said 'Recovery Your PC coudn't start properly Error Code: 0xc0000001' and says I need to use recovery tools. Should I repeat the same process again or what? I'm really anxious. Please help.

@frizzfrizzlol If you don't need any of your data, a clean installation would be the way to go: Install windows 11

@Vanadiel I'm serious, I've done the exact same thing that the guide shows but every time I do a clean install on the drive, it says that Windows failed to boot. also I forgot to mention that the hardware is completely fine, I did those supportassist checks and it said everything was fine. I'll try it again and I'll let you know in a bit if it works. :)

@Vanadiel Btw I also forgot to mention that when I turned the PC on, it did a tiny flicker before it went blue again. Just extra information.
Apologies for wasting your time, but it's an urgent issue that needs to be fixed. Please help

Make sure you wipe the destination drive completely clean so you have the full drive as unallocated space. You can do that from within the Windows installer.
Sounds to me like you are reinstalling over the existing Windows partition.

@Vanadiel Alright, so I clicked on my destination drive, clicked 'Clear', then 'Format', then selected the drive, for installation.
OH MY DAYS IT STILL IS SHOWING the error 0xc0000001, that my PC coudn't start up properly. Should I unplug my USB and try again? Or what?

@Vanadiel Please respond, I made sure to even go on to Diskpart in the USB and to select my disk and 'clean all' and reinstalled the iso file onto my USB again, and when I tried, it stil lshowed that stupid recovery 0xc0000001 and also some error with y BSD file, eben thouhg I literally wiped the drive, used the official Windows 11 iso file and I used Rufus to do so. I'm stuck right now

Unplug everything except keyboard, mouse and video cable. If you have more than 1 drive, ensure to select the correct drive.
The original installation will have multiple partitions, they all must be removed and the full drive size should be selected to create a single new partition.
If after that you still get the startup error, do a coin cell battery removal/reinsert. Coin Cell battery

@Vanadiel:
- I only have a keyboard mouse and video cable plugged in,
- When I did the 'clear all' command on Diskpart in the USB, it removed all the partitions that were made on the drive I wanted to install Windows on, so no partitions, it was completely clean and empty, plus I used Rufus to install the Windows iso file AGAIN on my USB to see if it was the USB that was the problem, and even still, I still have the startup error.
- Sorry for dragging this on too long. I'll look into the coin cell battery fix and if that dosen't work, I'll go to a tech repair shop, and then if they fix it, I'll tell you what was wrong and mark this question as resolved.
Hopefully nothing's wrong with my Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition.
ALSO, I got this off Ebay, and I know what you might be thinking, it was damaged/broken by the seller, but:
- The PC was sent back to Dell to be refurbished
- It was working perfectly fine until it started glitching when playing games and I was restarting the PC multiple times to see it if it would fix it but then I wasnt able to boot into Windows so i reset the PC but it made it worse so I tried the USB method, and here I am.
