Aurora 16 fans?
Hello everyone! Super excited about my purchase of the Aurora 16. While reading some of the reviews my concern is about the fans. Is there an easy upgrade for the fan? Or was it just an elitist over exaggerating and I will be fine playing on VR and a couple shooter games? I Want to make this pc last so I don’t need anything melting on me. Thank you all for your time and happy holidays!

There is no easy upgrade with retail fans, as that typically causes errors during post. The BIOS checks fan speeds and if you use other fans than the original it usually throws errors.
Some fans might work, so doing some research here and in other places might provide an idea of what might work.
I do hope you purchased it with liquid cooling rather than air cooling.

For liquid cooled R16 you have two chassis fans both 120 mm good enough for intake and exhaust.
lower front fan
rear fan

@Vanadiel thank you for the reply. Just double checked and it is the one with liquid cooling!

Should be overall ok then. Might have to adjust fan speeds during operation, but overall it will be ok.
Since this is an R16, make sure the first thing you do is update your motherboard BIOS to the latest version. It's important to do so.

One thing I ran into doing the firmware update was during restart the update must have cleared the Wifi setup because it was no longer connected to the internet and needed my PIN to logon. I had to restart with a USB WiFi adapter in order to connect and Logon. Not everyone will have a USB adapter handy.

@irsh_ Yes, sounds like they forgot to enable network UEFI support with this latest BIOS update.
