Area-51 R4, how to update NVidia driver?

Hello,

I have a GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics card in my Area-51 R4. It's current driver is 431.60. I am now not able to run some of the latest games and need to upgrade to 466.47. Support Assist does not take me to this level but the NVidia site apparently does. Is it OK for me to upgrade that way? My concern comes from when I tried this route with my last Alien product and effectively that ended the life of the beats, black screen could not be resolved. Your advice please.
