DELL XPS13 9380 is overheating when charging
Hi,
My laptop tends to overheat when I plug it to charge. The area close to the charging usb port gets pretty hot together with the rest of the laptop even when I am doing just really light work.
Drivers are up to date and I have already set thermal management to "cool" to avoid overheating. Unfortunately this leads to fan operating very often even with really light work. I did the dell bios diagnostic test and I found no issues.
Could you please advise how to solve this issue? This does not look normal, I would expect a laptop to overheat or a fan to start running when doing a hard task, not when plugging it to charge!
Thanks for your help
