8950 sudden shutdown and slightly melted psu port
The system completely shutdown and a plastic smell emerged, opened up the case and a saw the psu 8 pin connector intact, but around one of the reserved GND pin was damaged and the plastic melted.
Didn't try to power on the machine yet.
Apparently the output of the PSU is correct and stable and i don't know what exactly is beneath that burnt spot, a component?
Any Tips/Help.

For precautions i dissasembled everything.

The left most side pins are not in use, strange.

Maybe the PSU is failing.

Update: After this event, i cleaned all the motherboard with contact cleaner and it's working fine. Just download the newest bios (XPS_8950_1.26.0_x64) and uploaded to the board, maybe it's a software issue affecting the hardware.
