PowerStore Storage Direct構成について
PowerStoreでファイルサーバーのデータを他拠点分をまとめる案件があり、
そのデータをDataDomainでバックアップを取る予定です。
このStorage Directの構成でDataDomain側のイミュータブル機能のリテンションロックは使用可能でしょうか。
Storage Directの場合、Governance Modeのみサポート可能と見たのですが、
その際の設定作業などはPowerStoreManagerから可能でしょうか。
PPDataManagerは導入する予定はありません。
注意点等も合わせてご教授お願いいたします。

⇒Storage Direct 機能はあくまでPowerStoreのReplication技術を使ってData Domainへのデータ転送を行うものなのでData Domainの持っているRetention機能を使用することはできないです。

⇒以下の記載にあるようにData Manager でその設定ができます。
念のためPowerStore側でも確認しましたが該当しそうな設定項目はなかったです。

こちら、DataManagerを購入いただかない場合、DataDomainからCLIベースでGovernance Modeの設定は可能なのでしょうか。

⇒Data DomainでDDboost を使って作られたStorageUnit （Mtree）に対してのRetention Governance Modeの設定は可能ですし、実際にDD側でStorageDirectで設定されたMtreeへgovernance設定は出来ました。
（コマンド：mtree retention-lock enable mode governance mtree XXX）
またWthite Paperにも以下の文言があるのでできるのではないかと思うのですが、実際に運用、サポートがなされているかどうかの確証は公開されている情報にはありませんでした。
よく知る人にも相談したのですが、StorageDirect環境でのRetention設定に関する対応案件なども見当たらないらしいのでおそらく設定は可能であろう、という話でした。
