Abdou26,
To create or capture an ISO image for your T350 server, you have a few supported options depending on your goal (e.g., OS deployment, firmware updates, or driver injection). Here's a breakdown:
Option 1: Create a Virtual ISO Using iDRAC and Lifecycle Controller
If your server has an iDRAC9 Enterprise, you can:
Log in to iDRAC via web browser.
Launch the Virtual Console (Java or HTML5).
In the console, go to: Virtual Media → Create Image
Select a folder containing the files you want to package (e.g., drivers or scripts).
Click Create Image to generate an ISO.
Then use Map Removable Disk to mount it virtually to the server.
Option 2: Download OS ISO (e.g., Windows Server)
If you're looking to install or reinstall an OS:
Download the ISO directly from the Microsoft Evaluation Center or Dell’s support portal if you have OEM media.
You can then mount it via iDRAC or create a bootable USB.
Option 3: Create a Bootable USB with ISO (e.g., for firmware updates)
If you want to update firmware or install an OS locally:
Download Rufus.
Insert a USB drive.
Select your ISO file (e.g., Smart Bootable ISO from Dell Repository Manager).
Use MBR partition scheme and FAT32 file system.
Click Start to create the bootable USB.
Let me know if this helps.
