Alienware 15 R2 ne boot plus
Bonjour,
Alors que je travaillais sur mon Alienware, celui ci s'est éteint subitement.
Il était chaud.
Je précise qu'il fonctionnais qur batterie a ce moment précis.
J'ai essayé de le redémarrer mais rien ne se passe.
Lorsque celui ci est branché la led de chargement fonctionne.
Après appui sur le bouton de démarrage, la led s'éteint mais aucun fonctionnement mécanique ou logiciel.
Merci de votre aide.

When the charger light goes off it usually means that there is a short on the board. Unfortunately your motherboard may need replacing.
If the laptop was running really hot then one of the fans may have stopped working.
You can try a power drain but it's unlikely it will work.
Unplug the power adapter and battery (you will have to remove the back panel to unplug the battery from the motherboard). Once both of these are unplugged, hold the power button down for 30-60 seconds. Plug the adapter back in and see if it will boot. If it doesn't then your board is probably fried.
If it does boot then run a system pre-boot diagnostic (F12 while booting, select the diagnostic). You need to find out why the laptop overheated.
You should also repaste the CPU and GPU and clean out any dust/fluff from the heatsinks and fans as it can built up over the years and block the hot air from escaping the machine. Also make sure you're never using the laptop on a blanket or even a pillow as it will block the air flow.
