@JenselPC

If you have forgotten the BIOS password for your Dell Latitude 5480, there are a few options you can try to regain access to the BIOS.

Option 1: Try the Default Password Some Dell laptops have a default password that can be used to access the BIOS. You can try the following default passwords:

  • "Dell"
  • "Admin"
  • "Password"
  • "123456"
  • "0000"

Option 2: Remove the CMOS Battery Removing the CMOS battery from the motherboard can reset the BIOS password. To do this, you will need to open the laptop and locate the CMOS battery on the motherboard. Remove the battery for 10-15 minutes and then re-install it.

Option 3: Use the Master Password If you can provide the service tag of your laptop, Dell may be able to provide you with a master password that you can use to access the BIOS. You can find the service tag on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop or by running the "wmic bios get serialnumber" command in the Command Prompt.

Option 4: Contact Dell Support If none of the above options work, you may need to contact Dell support for further assistance. They may be able to provide you with a master password or perform a repair service to reset the BIOS password.

Note: If the laptop is still under warranty, it is recommended to contact Dell support first before attempting any of the above options, as they may void the warranty.

Hi sir

I tried option 1, it didn't work for me.
Option 2 didn't work for me either.
The other options do not have a guarantee and Dell support is complicated to deal with more when you are Latino
