XPS15 7590, running slow when plugged in
My XPS15 7590 runs very slow when the charger is plugged in but runs completely fine when I disconnect it, even the fans start spinning more. I replaced my battery over a month ago as it was swelling, with a non OEM battery and it worked fine. I'm not sure if that's related to this or there is some other hardware/software issue. I keep my power settings to ultra performance but changing it to optimized doesn't change anything. My laptop is up-to-date from what's given on SupportAssist and this is the first time this has happened to me.

Check in BIOS settings to see if it recognizes the charger when plugged in. A non-recognized power adapter can cause the CPU downclocked.

@Chino de Oro I checked it and it recognizes it. This goes on and off, but usually bad when I have low battery and start charging it. I unplug the charger when I want to do any basic stuff at normal speed.
