XPS13 9315: Wifi and Bluetooth stopped working within two years
From the last month, occasionally Bluetooth and WIFI icons were missing.
Restarting the laptop temporarily fixed. Then re-flashing the BIOS fixed the issues some times.
From yesterday (13 June) nothing helps.
I have installed listed and latest drivers from Dell website. Issue is not fixed
Then from Intel website. Issue is not fixed.
I did clean OS reinstallation, updated drivers. Nothing helps.
In device manager, Bluetooth and Network controller has ! symbol.
Now working with USB C to ethernet adapter and long ethernet cable connected to router.
I hope Dell will support and fix this issue.
Thill now I have owned 3 laptops and 2 monitors from Dell. I hope Dell will not shatter my hope on Dell

Hi
So the full hardware diagnostic reports no errors or problems?
Please can you confirm the Make Model and OS, along with any configuration details like touch screen, backlit keyboard, SFF or tower etc etc.

@Anesh.S
Hi
it would have been nice if you dropped down the network tab as well.
Perhaps try these commands...
netsh lan show interfaces | more /c
ipconfig /all
netsh wlan show profiles
msinfo32
In the hope that they will provide enough clues for a solution.

@Anesh.S
It seems you have a working ethernet connection.
You have installed the drivers, which suggests that the Wi-Fi is there, and it is a config issue.
Because everything is redacted, I suggest you follow the advice...
Share it with the support team.
I wish you luck.
Bye.

Thanks for your advice. I will try to get support from Dell. I'm loosing my hope with Dell.
As per the symptoms I feel WiFi Card needs replacement. I really wonder how within 18 months such failures happen in a reputed brand?
Wifi card is soldered on board. So user can not replace that.
I expect Dell to fix this issue. Else I will share the poor quality of present Dell products in all the social media.

You take the attached 0toF.txt, read thru it and rename 0toF.bat.
Start at 1 and work thru until you find something positive to report....

Hi, thanks. As you guided I downloaded the txt file, renamed to bat file and ran with all the options from 1 to F. But there is no info about the wifi/Bluetooth.
For the option 7, I got below repones:
Press 0-F, and then ENTER: 7
There is no wireless interface on the system. Name InterfaceDescription ifIndex Status MacAddress LinkSpeed ---- -------------------- ------- ------ ---------- --------- Ethernet 2 Realtek USB GbE Family Controller 11 Up AC-91-A1-C9-3C-45 100 Mbps Press any key to continue . . .

""There is no wireless interface on the system. ""
In that case fit a replacement.

My backup plan is a Live Linux Distro like Linux Mint and do tests and checks that way, eliminating the Windows factor.
