XPS 9730 not turning on

If your Dell XPS 9730 won't turn on, try a hard reset by removing the battery and AC adapter, holding the power button for 15-20 seconds, then reconnecting the components and attempting to power on again. 

Here's a more detailed troubleshooting guide:
1. Basic Checks:
Power Source:
Ensure the AC adapter is securely plugged into both the wall outlet and the laptop. Check that the power LED on the AC adapter is lit. 
Battery:
If possible, try powering on the laptop with the battery removed and only using the AC adapter. 
Power Button:
Make sure the power button is functioning correctly. Try pressing and holding it for a few seconds to force a shutdown, then try powering it on again. 
2. Hard Reset (Draining Static Electricity):
Disconnect Everything: Remove the AC adapter and the battery.
Hold Power Button: Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
Reassemble: Reconnect the battery and AC adapter.
Attempt Power On: Try powering on the laptop again.
