XPS 9700 Not powering on

Hello!

I am having a problem with my computer.

I think the battery runned out and now it is impossible to turn it on.

I have tried the basics. I have removed the battery, tried to power on, nothing happened. It might be a CMOS or BIOS issue. But it only slowly blinks the white light when it is plugged into charger. Out of charger it kept the amber light on as long as I tried to turn it. Up to a point not even the amber light was on... it got completely unresponsive.

Can someone help me??

With the battery disconnected from the mainboard and system unplugged, hold the power button for 30 sec.  Remove and reinstall the memory module(s).

Reassemble the system and try powering up thereafter.

Does that worked for you? Because I have bought new battery and tried a new memory. Nothing helped. I am helpless. I think I will never buy another dell in my life!

It would have helped to know that along with the original post you made, but if you've tried new RAM, a new battery and a system reset to no effect, the sole remaining possibility is a bad mainboard, which you'll need to replace.
