xps 9530 short battery life
I am running Manjaro as my OS. I noticed my battery icon will say there's about an hour left, then it will jump to saying it's critical, and shutdown will occur in 60 seconds. Has anyone else experienced this? Do I need to calibrate it? Should I/can I replace the battery?

Could be anything from the OS power settings to a dying battery. The system is 2+ years old at this point, and if it's been used extensively, in the absence of other symptoms, the battery would be the place to start, assuming the runtimes have been OK until recently.
Yes, the battery can be replaced.
