XPS 9520 chargers keep breaking
XPS 15 9520
I bought my XPS 15 9520 a little over a year ago, and in that time I've gone through at least 1 new charger every month. I've tried every different brand that is available, and I've bought them directly from Dell as well, and still they continue to fail. Does anyone else have this problem, or know of a better cable? They always fail in similar, but sometimes slightly different ways, they just stop charging.

Unless the plug is physically broken, a succession of adapters that cease to charge the battery points the issue toward either the battery or the mainboard.

The plugs are behaving as if they are physically broken, sometimes even the light on the plug turns on and off, and generally I can jiggle the chord to get it to work temporarily. If after that it's still able to be a battery/mobo problem I can test those.

I can almost guarantee you the issue is with the jacks, not the plugs. A damaged USB-C port can easily destroy the plug on the next adapter you try. The evidence is even more convincing if all the ports are behaving the same way.
Unfortunately, they're not separately replaceable -- you will be replacing the system board.
