XPS 9440, screen issues, complaints
XPS 14 9440

I was a loyal Apple customer for years but needed to switch to Microsoft for its Excel and PowerPoint shortcuts, which were essential for my line of work. I needed a high-quality laptop, so I opted for the Dell XPS 9440 14” after being assured by salespeople that it was state-of-the-art and would run smoothly. I was sold and ready to buy this product not only for myself but recommend it to our head of operations as the product of choice for all our employees (circa – 150-200 in the front office alone).
This was the biggest lie. I haven’t had a single good experience with this laptop. Within the first two weeks, the screen started bleeding, and an ever-expanding black bubble along with white lines appeared. When I contacted Dell, they immediately blamed me, despite there being no visible damage, even though the screen was marketed as strong and robust Gorilla Glass. If damage had occurred, surely there would have been some visible signs? After countless hours of dealing with Dell’s unhelpful employees and being repeatedly blamed, I had to spend my own money to hire a computer expert friend, who wrote a detailed report proving it was a manufacturing defect. Only then did Dell reluctantly agree to replace the laptop.
You might think this would be the end of my troubles, but unfortunately, it wasn’t. The replacement laptop constantly had issues with Face ID and was generally slow. Then, one day, I placed it gently onto my soft bed from a height of just 11 inches, and the screen now has a huge scratch from the bottom and does not work. Keep in mind this is only a few weeks after my replacement came! I wish I were making this up. This is the most fragile, worthless piece of junk I have ever used.

@DELL-Cares I haven't received a single private message from yourselves. Additionally, please revert to my old title or let me reword my title rather than changing it for me to suit your narrative.
