XPS 9300, USB-C port stopped charging battery
Hi,
My USB-C on the left side of my machine will no longer charge the battery. Luckily, the right side still works. However, not knowing the cause I do not want to find myself out of luck in some distant land should the right side stop working for the same reason. Same adapter/charging cord works on the right side, charges just fine; can be plugged in on the left for hours and the battery just drains. Any fixes an owner (or owner's local tech person) can perform? I am currently out of warranty.

If you have a shop locally that can do board level soldering, you may be able to have the jack replaced or resoldered -- otherwise, the only solution will be a replacement system board.
