XPS 17 9720, Dell PremierColor, does not support this system configuration
I keep getting a popup window that says Dell PremierColor does not support this system configuration. Please refer to application in the Windows Store.

I see that you have had this XPS 17 9720 since January 9, 2023. Did Dell PremierColor work back then?
The Dell PremierColor app shows the XPS 17 9720 under Compatible Systems.
Did you also install the Dell PremierColor driver?

Yes it did work when I got my laptop, but several months ago I did an update and that is when I started getting the pop up window

I am seeing the same thing on my Precision 7550 running Win 10.
It's been fine for 4 years but after a Dell update in April or maybe May I get the incompatible with Premierecolor message.
At the same time the other Dell support programs - Support Assist and Optimizer - have stopped working either completely - just crashes - or partially. (Sort of works a bit but has lost all update history and does no recognise the Tag.
In addition one of my primary non-Dell applications has been compromised, though most things seem to continue to work.
I figure if I can work ot what may have happened to the Dell utilities I may also discover why my other app is no longer working. However, after several weeks I seem to be getting nowhere with clues towards a solution.
I've just been trying to run another install of SupportAssist (as suggested by the web page that seems to discuss this problem a little) and it's just hanging when the screen reports that it is "setting up".
Any suggestions would be very welcome.
