XPS 17 9710 Thunderbolt 4 Issue

I have two XPS 17 9710 laptops with Thunderbolt 4 controller running NVM 31.1. Under Linux (Ubuntu), the system negotiates a full 40 Gbps Thunderbolt link with my docks/cables. Under Windows 11, the same hardware only negotiates 20 Gbps.  It appears Windows never exposes a USB4 Host Router.

I inspected the ACPI tables and confirmed that the BIOS for this model does not include the USB4 ACPI descriptors required for Windows to enumerate USB4. Other Dell systems using the same controller family (Precision, Latitude, newer XPS models) expose USB4 correctly under Windows.  This appears to be a firmware/ACPI omission specific to the XPS 17 9710.

I'm hoping Dell monitors these forums, and my request is this:
Please escalate this to engineering for a BIOS update that adds the missing USB4 ACPI descriptors so Windows can enumerate USB4 and negotiate the correct 40 Gbps link speed.  If there is already an update that fixes this but is unadvertised, I would be interested in that update.

Thank you!
