xps 17 9700 display cable fell
Hello and I have been saying that I got a black screen on my XPS 17 9700 and I believe that the display cable fell

Center front, yes. Where is the heatsink? And when reassembling, replacing the thermal compound on the CPU and GPU would be a good idea -- what's there appears very dried out.

Will a screen diagnostic run (hold the D key through powerup)?
If it does, check the connection between the mainboard and display panel. Service manual here.

@ejn63 I know but I put it back together and I did accidentally puncture the battery when I was trying to remove and put the battery back in I usually got mad at the battery so I did Boot it up but somehow the coin cell battery is dead so I do need help locating that the CMOS battery

By the way the screen issue has been fixed I just wanted to touch some random components and I somehow got it fixed I accidentally ripped off that other end of the cable but it still works good
