XPS 16 9640, Dell NVIDIA driver 32.0.15.6641 A05, causes height CPU usage for SYSTEM process

Hello,

I have currently installed all available updates for my XPS 16 9640. Since the last update the new NVIDIA-Driver 32.0.15.6641, A05 causes the consumption of one CPU core by the SYSTEM process. I have taken some stack stnapshots and I see that a NVIDIA-SYS file causes the problem. This bug leads too running FANs and trains my battery.

After updating to the latest NVIDIA driver downloaded from the NVIDIA homepage 32.0.15.7283, the problem disappears.

This was the DELL update causing the problems:

Version
32.0.15.6641, A05
Downloadtyp:
Treiber
Dateiname
NVIDIA-RTX-4050-4060-4070-Graphics-Driver_PT93T_WIN64_32.0.15.6641_A05.EXE
Regards,
Thomas.

I had the same problem with NVIDIA GeForce MXxx0/GTX 16x0/RTX 30x0 Graphics Driver 32.0.15.6641, A20 on my Inspiron 7706 2-in-1.

I solved the issue by downloading and installing the 08/30/2024 32.0.15.6103 version of the driver from the Dell driver site.

I hope NVIDIA/Dell solves this issue soon.
