XPS 15 9570, LCD panel driver
Device Manager/Monitors in my Dell XPS9570 with 4K Touch Display shows a "Generic PnP Monitor" Microsoft driver as seen in the attached screenshot, not the Dell specific driver for the notebook's panel (I believe it's a Sharp SHP display). The Dell drivers website for the XPS9570 does not show any monitor driver. I tried Google to look for a specific .inf file to download to no avail. I also let Windows Update look for it without success either. Does anyone know where to get this driver from? Thanks

I did just check my XPS15-9520 for you and it is fully-detailed-named.
However, I've seen that generic-name before on my various Dell laptops and it still works fine. What problem is it causing in Windows-11?
In Windows-Update, did you look in the "Advanced Optional Drivers" section?

@Tesla1856 Yes, my laptop works fine too, and it's WIndows 10 in my case. Issue is that after installing an Nvidia Studio Driver, when I try to open the Nvidia Control Panel it can't open, it displays a message that a monitor cannot be detected. As I said I tried Windows Update but I believe that in Windows 10 there is no "Advanced Optional Drivers" section

A driver isn't needed and wouldn't solve the issue. Your system has a MUXless GPU setup - the only physical connection between the GPU and screen is the Intel one -- all video data passes through it on its way to the screen, even if it is processed by the nVidia GPU.
This is the way the system is designed to operate -- there is no direct video connection to the screen from the nVidia GPU.

@perseid
Question: I do not see a Dell OEM Nvidia Studio Driver on the XPS 15 9570 Drivers & Downloads page. That means that Dell has not validated one and that you downloaded it from a non-Dell site. Why not return to our validated OEM Nvidia driver?

Hi Chris, the reason is that the XPS9570 has reached EOL and latest OEM drivers both for the Intel and Nvidia GPUs are from 2021, and latest drivers from Nvidia add security fixes and possibly performance/feature improvements. My system is stable with latest official Intel driver (dated March 2026) plus the Game Ready Nvidia driver 6636 (dated December 2024). All game ready drivers after that one end in BSOD that's why since I don't do gaming was trying to test the latest Studio driver which are supposed to be more stable than their game ready counterparts due to less frequent updates/features.
ejn, yes, good observation, maybe then it's worth keeping the Dell OEM Intel driver to assure no issues with display detection and test Intel OEM+Nvidia Studio. Will keep trying. Thanks
