XPS 15 7590 Secure Boot certificates BIOS update

Judging by this support article there are apparently no plans to include the 2023 Microsoft certificates in a BIOS update for my laptop (XPS 15 7590). I am not running Windows on it, and am honestly surprised the latest BIOS update (1.35, March 2025) hasn't included these updated certificates yet, along with outright stating no update will come for it.

Seeing Dell seemingly care so little for hardware that still runs perfectly fine, and isn't -that- old, is really leaving a sour taste. I cannot imagine including these certificates is that complex either. Why not include them in an update to make everything that much simpler for your customer, especially those who do not want to run Windows (thus getting these keys via a Windows Update is not an option, nor does it solve the problems caused if keys are ever reset down the road as the default set does not contain the 2023 ones)?

I don't imagine this complaint is suddenly going to make you reconsider this decision, but the handling of this mess will play a decisive factor in me buying a new Dell laptop or not once this one wears out, I can tell you that much.

I was able to update my Dell XPS Desktop 8930 and Dell XPS 15 7590 by following this procedure:

trigger 2023 certificate updates through powershell

Also was able to use it on a HP Laptop. All are working with Secure Boot with the 2023 Certificates.
