XPS 15 7590, critical error message, no bootable devices found after Windows update
My laptop just did an automatic Windows update and during its shut down it went into Pre-Boot System Performance Check and said "hardware scan complete with no issues.no bootable devices were found! Possible causes could be a corrupt OS image or a boot device is not enabled in BIOS setup." The only button to press was shutdown, so I clicked that and then restarted it and now everytime I turn it back on all I get is the Pre-Boot System Performance Check with a window saying "Critical Error Message. No bootable devices found."
Please help!!

What is the computer model and the OS installed?
Try setting the bios to defaults to see if that will resolve the error.
To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them. Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.

It's a Dell XPS 15 7590 laptop. I'm not 100% sure on the OS. I've restored the BIOS to defaults and upon restarting it went into automatically trying to attempt repairs and now I've got a blue screen entitled 'Choose an option' with 4 different options: continue, use a device, troubleshoot or turn off your PC. Any advice?
