XPS 13 plus 9320 webcam not working
XPS 13 Plus 9320
I have a new XPS 13 Plus 9320 shipped with Ubuntu 22.04 TLS. But my webcam does not work and did never work before. It's not working in any application.
Tried the following already
- BIOS update (1.10 now)
- Additional drivers
- Webcam is enabled in BIOS
- Restored cheese
- Installed OEM-somerville-tentacool-meta
Contacted DELL chat but that's worthless support, just like the webcam.

I solved the problem by installing the official ubuntu installation image and thus removing the shipped ubuntu from Dell.

How did you test your webcam?
There is a bug with Cheese application [1], but the camera did work with app like Google meet or Zoom. Have you checked it?

This way did not work on my new XPS 13 Plus 9320 (April 2023). I found the solution via https://github.com/intel/ipu6-drivers with the 3rd variant (Build with dkms). With this, my webcam now works.
