XPS 13 9340 - Laptop is ON and connected to the network but will not respond to Remote Desktop.

Dell XPS 13 9340, I tried opening the SupportAssist to get the service tag but supportassist just rolls forver.

The laptop is on and connected to the Wireless or Wired network. After a while it will not respond t a remote desktop connections. What I have to do is walk up to it and press space so the screen turns on and right away it will start responding to a remote desktop session. This is of course a major problem as you may leave your PC on at the office and want to remotely connect to it over a VPN and so forth.
Power settings are ballanced, Windows 11 23H2. This has been a problem with the PC from day one so I'm suspecting some of the Dell software or the WIFI Killer Suite.
Anyone with a Dell XPS had this issue and resolved it? Thank you.

If remote desktop is not working, connection problems may be the cause. Especially public networks can be a problem. Windows blocks these from time to time to increase the security of the end device. If this is the reason why remote desktop is not working, the network should be changed from public to private.

Hello and thank you Jesse for your reply and suggestion. For your information it's a home and an office network with very stable and fast Ruckus Wi-Fi6 and the profile is set to "private" on both networks.

I do believe I've solved the problem myself but I disabled the Dell Power optimizer but this was like something was putting the NIC to sleep so I started there. I've not had this problem since. I'll report back again in a few days to confirm.
