XPS 13 9310 won't boot, long press stuck at Dell Logo

Question

The computer turned off out of the blue.

Now I can't get it to turn on again.

I tried pressing the Power button without PSU plugged in for 15 seconds that gets me to the dell logo but not any further.

When the power is plugged in none of the LEDs light up - neither the one below the touchpad nor the keyboard backlight.

What else can I try?

Unplug the system, and remove the base cover. Disconnect the battery from the mainboard and hold the power button for 30 sec.

Reassemble and see if there is any sign of life -- if there isn't, the mainboard needs to be replaced.
